Mark Praakel
With his Level 1 certification and his long history of athletic instruction, Mark focuses on player development with the Hawks. He handles the team's fitness programs, body weight training schedules, and teaching strategies within practice. He sets and runs all practices including the sport specific skill development and team offence/defence lessons. Mark's background is in cross-training, having competed at high levels in soccer, volleyball, tennis, rowing and basketball. While at university, he spent time as an Assistant Coach with the Womens' Varsity Basketball team.
